Detroit Pistons Will Be Retiring Dennis Rodman’s #10 Jersey
The Detroit Pistons have just announced they will be retiring Dennis Rodman‘s #10 jersey on April 1, 2011. A special ceremony will take place during halftime at The Palace of Auburn Hills as the Pistons take on the Bulls.
Dennis Rodman’s untouchable defensive style was an integral part of the Pistons ‘Bad Boys’ team that won back-to-back championships in 1989 and 1990. He was drafted by the Pistons in 1986 and stayed with the team until 1993 when he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs. He later played for the Chicago Bulls along side MJ, picking up three more rings in 1996, 1997, and 1998.
Wondering if he will ever be a HOF inductee, what you think?
