**Updates**OchoCinco Fined for Honoring Chris Henry?
<UPDATE> Chad Ochocinco did not wear #15 for today’s game against the S.D. Chargers in honor of Chris Henry, but guess who did? Brandon Marshall wears Henry’s name in warm-ups……….
The Ochocinco Show (his eleborate celebrations) has always been entertaining too me. I never understood why the fines were so severe for having fun and enjoying your job; however, some would disagree. This time around I wonder how many are in disagreeance with Chad’s desire to honor #15? Chad Ochocinco wants to wear Chris Henry’s jersey on Sunday to honor his teammate that past away this week. I think it’s a touching tribute idea from a guy who knew Henry very well, not a “eleborate celebrations” stunt but, a sincere desire to honor a friend, co worker, team mate, etc.. Regardless of that, the NFL has already stated that if Ochocinco wears Henry’s jersey this Sunday, they’ll fine the crap out of him. well, whatever because the NFL Players Association has come out and said “TRY IT”, NFL! We’ll pay Ochocinco’s fine for him.”
To my understanding a team has full control over the locker room and its contents, and the team can either refuse to give a player a certain jersey or instruct him not to leave the locker room in something other than his assigned uniform.
Dear Benagals, PLEASE allow Chad to wear #15 in today’s game. All Star Grind thinks that it truly the most kind and honorable gesture one player can give in to the remembrance of another.
I am extremely curious to know everyone’s thoughts regarding the fine. Is it necessary? Has it been done before? Were fines involved? Please share your comments/thoughts.
