2010 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game Roster
Doctor Oz (Host, “The Dr. Oz Show”): Allowed to play in his scrubs, since he wears them in all non-medical situations.
Common (Musician/Actor): Starts strong, then peters out entirely by the fourth quarter. Will not stop talking about working with McG on Terminator: Salvation.
Chris Tucker (Rush Hour, Friday): Now more active in celebrity games than movies, having not acted in a non-Rush Hour picture since 1997′s Jackie Brown. Talks the most trash of anyone on the court.
Mark Cuban (Dallas Mavericks Owner): The guy in the pickup game who tries way too hard. Complains about the refs after every foul call.
Anthony Anderson (Law & Order, Kangaroo Jack): Once seen as too immature to carry a team, now a versatile veteran who teams can depend on for consistent production.
Robert Horry (Seven-time NBA Champion): Surprisingly, will defer to Chris Tucker in the closing moments.
Joel Moore (Avatar, The Hottie and the Nottie): Tall, lanky, the potential star of the game. Ability to explain every event of the game in an overbearing fashion makes him a likely announcer in the future.
Rick Fox (Meet the Browns, He Got Game): Long history of playing athletes in film and TV should make him well-prepared for this one.
Anthony Kim (PGA Tour Pro): I have no idea who this is. The PGA can’t get Tiger back soon enough.
Chris Mullin (Five-time NBA All-Star): Once scored approximately 150 points in an MTV Rock ‘n’ Jock Game. Excels from hot spots and in crunch time, when baskets are worth 25 points. (Also increases the likelihood of a performance by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.)
Pitbull (Musician, “I Know You Want Me”): Plays in a suit and tie, backed by three sexy dancers at all times.
Nancy Lieberman (Basketball Hall of Famer, coach of new NBDL team in Dallas): Thankfully not in the announcers’ booth.
Assistant Coach: Mario Lopez (Saved by the Bell: The New Class, ESPN Hollywood): An All-League performer in 14 sports in high school, he broke under the pressure of major college sports and now spends his time interviewing the kind of people who play in the Celebrity Game
