The Cornerback Celebrity Basketball Slam Jam will be the most electrifying celebrity basketball games held in Manatee County Civic Center located at 1 Haven Blvd., Palmetto, FL on Saturday, June 26, 2010.  This entertaining family-oriented event will consist of a VIP Reception held prior to the game, a high flying and exciting halftime show by the “Mav’s Man” of the Dallas Mavericks, an exhibition game featuring two AAU All-Star teams, and a high energy basketball battle of some of the best professional athletes in the nation. Some of the invited players include: current and former NFL players – Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, DeMarcus Ware, Daunte Culpepper, Ed Reed, Alan Ball, Ray Lewis, Ray Rice, Gerald Sensabaugh, Adam Jones, Orlando Scandrick, Mike Hamlin, Tashard Choice, Chris Johnson, Martellus Bennett, Jared Gaither, Thomas Howard, Eric Wright, Tim Hightower, Rod Harper, Marcus Paulk (actor), Giovonnie Samuels (actress), Erica Hubbard, along with many more celebrities.
