Carolina Panthers Running Back Jonathan Stewart “Camp Free of Charge”

In what most camp organizers called rare, Stewart held his first football camp free of charge to about 180 kids ages 7 to 14 in what he hopes will become a tradition that will last long after he’s “dead and gone.”

“For them to be on the field with NFL players and meet them is incredible,” Hal Bowes, Thurston County Youth Football League coach said. “Jonathan played youth football here and we’re able to tell the kids, look where he’s gone and it shows that hard work can pay off.”

Many of our readers comment a lot about how much some of the camps cost.  Here is a prime example that all players intent are not the same and I am sure that there are certain aspect of camp organization where fees are required.  **side eye**
