Yes, I know I am late…..however, it’s always a GREAT time share any philanthropist story that includes one of our favorite athletes!

 Deron Williams hosted his fourth annual charity golf event at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi.

“This is always a fun time for me, a special event,” Williams said. “This was the first event my foundation did and it’s just good that we continue to have success with it and continue to grow every year and get better and better.”

This year’s primary beneficiary was Shriners Hospitals for Children in Salt Lake City, as well as Williams’ Point of Hope Foundation. Williams set a new record by raising $65,000 for Shriners from his event.
