THE HAX FOUNDATION PRESENTS – JOHN WOODEN MEMORIAL CELEBRITY GAME
UCLA’s former basketball coach, John Wooden, who in 27 years led his teams to triumphs and put in the extra time to mentor many players off the court. Wooden who passed away earlier this year, left a legacy of success and excellence during his career at UCLA.Wooden’s teams won seven consecutive National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) championships between 1967 and 1973, and 10 titles in his final 12 seasons as head coach. Wooden retired from coaching following the 1975 season with a UCLA record of 620 wins and 147 losses.
