Here is the Official Touchdown Shutdown video………..

San Diego Chargers linebacker Shaun Phillips is giving back to after-school program After-School All-Stars, crediting his own childhood experiences with after-school programs as having made an important effect on him. Since 2007, Phillips has been donating $1,000 for every sack to the program, with local companies matching his donations. So far, between Phillips and companies like the UPS Store, $28,000 has been donated to the After-School All-Stars.

This year, some offensive players and some new defensive players as well have joined in the efforts of what is being called the “Touchdown vs. Shutdown” sponsorship program. Phillips’ teammates Stephen Cooper, Antoine Cason and Legedu Naanee, as well as Matt Forte of the Chicago Bears, Wes Walker of the New England Patriots, Brandon Graham of the Philadelphia Eagles, and even more players are donating based on their yards or touchdowns and sacks.

You don’t have to make a touchdown in the NFL to donate, however. Anyone can text “ASAS” to 20222 to donate anytime. For more information click here.
