6-2 Baltimore native originally committed to Tennessee before he decided to tell the Vols that he wasn’t coming. Currently Selby has squads like Kentucky showing interest , due to his freakish hops and ability to play either position in the backcourt.

President Obama Pitching for the White Sox?

President Barack Obama has decided he’ll do the honor at the Washington Nationals home opener on April 5th against the Phillies. This event will mark the 100th anniversary of a president throwing out the first pitch to start the season. The first time was in 1910 when President William Howard Taft did so, WOW!

MLB commissioner Bud Selig seems to be happy with the news:

“I am proud that President Obama will continue the long presidential tradition of throwing out the first pitch of opening day in Washington, D.C.,” Selig said.

I think it’s GREAT that Obama is continuing the tradition.

All for Charity, Dwayne Wade vs Andy Roddick

RODDICK VS. D-WADEYes, that was the Heat’s Dwyane Wade on the practice court against Roddick on Saturday afternoon. Wade and Roddick delighted fans with a tennis/basketball exhibition. Roddick challenged the basketball star to 10 minutes of tennis, and Wade took on the tennis star in a game of H-O-R-S-E.

The winner? After trailing H-O-R to H, Wade rallied to win the game by one letter. But Wade was no match for Roddick on the tennis court. Roddick wowed him with his trademark blistering serve.

Roddick played basketball at Boca Prep but was nervous before Saturday’s contest. “I can play tennis in front of 20,000 people, but I threw the first pitch of a Yankees game last year, and that’s nerve-wracking when I’m out of my comfort zone. [Wade] is one of my favorites. I’m a big Heat fan. I’m hoping for one miracle shot that they play over and over on video replays.”

Michael Vick and his fiance Kijafa Frink cover the April 2010 issue of Sister2Sister Magazine.

Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick and his fiance Kijafa Frink cover the April 2010 issue of Sister2Sister Magazine.  The two also opened up to S2S editor, Jamie Foster Brown, who interviewed the couple about their relationship and Mike’s decision to participate in his BET reality show. During the interview, Mike also reveals a childhood incident that could have left him blind!

Were you good in school?

Michael: I was pretty disruptive in class. I really didn’t focus.

Kijafa: He was a bad boy.

Michael: I didn’t put forward my best effort.

Kijafa: Tell her ’bout the time your mom said you glued your eyes shut.

Why did you do that?

Michael: Just being inquisitive. I had seen my mom using Visine. [all laugh] I thought the tube of glue was Visine, so me seeing what she was doing, I put some in my eyes. It was super glue.

Did they have to take you to the hospital?

Michael: No. I had a patch over my eye for a week. And then they—then my aunt cut it. It was all glued up. She cut my eyelash off, then it opened up after that.

Kijafa: I love hearing that story.

WOMP-WOMP!!!  Boys will be boys……………..but, gluing your EYE LIDS??  LOL
