Chris Paul joined ChaseBank to donate $1 million to create an afterschool program for New Orleans youth. The program, called the CP3 Afterschool Zone, will work with local schools, libraries, and other facilities to create after school programs that tap into each child’s interests.
Giving back and Giving back BIG! Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets donated $1 million to assistance New Orleans youth.

Terrell Owens will be hosting one on December 6th in Kentucky to benefit the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and 81 Cares. 81 Cares feeds 81 families in need during the holiday season. Other players from the Cincinnati Bengals will join Terrell as well as celebrities and NFL legends.

Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo and Red Bull have come up with a unique fundraising promotion for this season. Rajon and Red Bull will donate $500 for each steal he makes throughout the 2010 – 2011 season. After Rondo reaches 30 steals, a donation will be made to Washington/Malcolm X Park, selected for being an area of need, for being a historically iconic playground and for its continued popularity amongst kids and playground players.
After that project is complete, fans will be able to vote on the next Boston park that gets refurbished. Make sure to check out the Red Bull website for more details.
